The passenger figures are growing continiously. The airport Münster/Osnabrück has 1.5 million annual passengers. This figure is to be splitted into 1/3 business and 2/3 leisure and low cost traffic.
The most frequent schedule destination is currently Munich (MUC), the most frequent leisure destination is Palma (PMI). There are actually some gaps in the FMO network with a high potential. Especially the eastern european and northern european markets are currently uncovered. As Münster/Osnabrück has a comprehensive network, some routes especially to eastern and northern Europe are currently unserved. Due to the high demand to these regions any airline is invited to fill the gap.
