The historic city is one of the largest in the whole of Turkey. Antalya is especially famous for the Kaleici district, which is located in the old town. Typical for this quarter are the winding alleys, in which historical finds can be found. One of these findings is the Hadrian's Gate, which dates back to the time of Roman antiquity. Something you should also not miss is the Yivili Minare Mosque, which dates back to the 14th century. The mosque has six domes and twelve columns, all of which date back to when it was built.

During your stay in Turkey, you should not miss one of the numerous markets and bazaars. Here you will experience lively hustle and bustle and a flooding of the senses. At every corner there are other typical Turkish specialties to see. Especially the different scents of spices or teas let you dive into another world. On the beaches there are some activities like parasailing, water skiing or banana boat as well as leisure and aqua parks. No wonder that especially families like to spend their vacations here.

For those who like to spend time in nature, a trip to the falls of Manavgat is indispensable. Barely eight kilometers outside Side, in the middle of the most beautiful nature, you will find the river Manavgat, which has a width of 40 meters at the point of the two-meter high waterfall. Despite the rather low height of the waterfall, this natural spectacle is beautiful to look at due to the masses of water. Next to the waterfall you will find some small cafes and restaurants, which invite you to linger a bit and let your soul dangle.
