Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) is a modern regional airport in northwestern Germany. With approximately 1.5 million passengers per year and 24/7 operations, we serve travelers from North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and neighboring regions of the Netherlands. Our traffic mix includes scheduled services, holiday charters, and low-cost carriers, reflecting the diversity of our passenger base.

As an experienced airport operator, we understand the challenges that come with daily operations – both airside and within terminal infrastructure – especially when it comes to IT. For more than 20 years, our in-house IT department has been developing and operating digital solutions tailored specifically to the needs of airports. We work not only for our own location, but also for external partners across Germany and abroad. Our clients range from small regional airports to larger international hubs, as well as medium-sized businesses with individual IT requirements.

GAVS®, our automated boarding pass control system at security checkpoints, increases both safety and throughput. Airport Voice, our web-based announcement system, delivers automated, multilingual messages in over 65 languages – directly triggered from operational systems. SimpleBag goes far beyond a typical Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS): it’s a fully integrated baggage management platform that supports the entire baggage journey – from check-in to lost & found – with support for modern technologies like RFID, GPS, and digital load control.
